Skylarks Above The Poppy Fields

Such a lovely day! A morning in the beach with my son and my little granddaughter - paddling, collecting shells, digging holes…. Then home for lunch outside and a gentle afternoon of games and snoozing. 

This evening, I did a quick bit of work in the garden then went out to revisit the poppies with my camera just as the sun was setting - it was beautiful! The skylarks were flying just above the poppies - I was pleased to capture two of them in this shot.
