Metropolitan West Cross Country... (Regionals)

First time Son Ruben has made it to Regionals and it was a goal that he set at the beginning of the school year... 6km Cross Country course, he finished in 10th place in a time of 24:05 with an average pace of 4:01km...
Lots of times it's not about winning, it's about having a plan, getting to the start line, sticking to the plan and getting across the finish line...
His smile says it all...
Now he'll have 6 weeks to prepare for a half marathon in the Jetty2Jetty event...
At school after the school holidays they go into Athletics where Ruben will pick and choose between the running events...
