Morning walk

After getting home late last night I slept in this morning and didn't get up until just after 7am; late for me, as I'm definitely a 'lark' not an 'owl'.  After all the walking yesterday we stayed around the house today so I only ventured out for my morning paper.  This was taken on my walk up to the shop; there is a strip of mature woodland all the way up the side of our housing development and the builders put a path through the woods. It's amazing how much wildlife we see there even though this part is less than 50 metres wide, although it does continue into a much larger area of woodland on the other side of the road.  Always a lovely walk in the morning.
