It's alive!

When we arrived at this house in March 2021 this hedge was overgrown and riddled with decorative plants.  It borders our back garden and runs along the side of a lane, so native hedge was required, we thought.

And a year later, my amateur laying has worked with strong growth from all the laid limbs, as well as happy new whips of a variety of native plants.  Of course the dastardly weed is in there, bindweed and ground elder, along with a bit of bramble and chickweed, but if I control that we have a new/old hedge.

Hurrah!
