What a mouthful

Best seen LARGE HERE
It looks like it's nesting season, although I have noticed many hatched eggs discarded from nests in the forest.

This Great Tit, Parus Major, Mésange Charbonnière in French, is just doing some home improvements, you know what it's like when you go to the DIY store for a bag of screws and end up with a trolley full of other things ...

Interestingly my bird identification application, which is in French uses the Latin name, Parus Major, which is the Great tit, but in the French name - 'Charbonnière' it would lead us to believe that it was a coal tit - the app, incidently doesn't have a different bird for the Great and the Coal tit....
The same result appears on Internet searches in French.

Hope you are having a lovely day.
