INDY CARS AT ROAD AMERICA

BIG INDY CAR RACE AT ROAD AMERICA TODAY.....America's Nation Park of Speed. Pre-race ceremonies saw a fly-over by four USAF A-10 Thunderbolts (a.k.a Warthogs) from the 355th Wing Davis-Monthan AFB in Arizona.

The pilots were treated to some special events at the track and after landing in Milwaukee where they and their maintenance crews were stationed, they drove back to Road America quickly and were able to see the end of the race from the starter's platform. Every pilot thought the experience was extraordinary. I thought the fly-over was.

The race was won by Josef Newgarden...the 2nd time he has won here; second place went to Marcus Ericsson and third place was claimed by Alexander Rossi.
