Oh I Do Like..

……………………….. to be beside the seaside!
                    I do like to be beside the sea!
                    I do like to stroll along the Prom, Prom, Prom! 
                    Where the brass bands play…I knew something was missing!!


It’s been a largely grey day with lots of wind and some rain which meant I got lots of little indoor jobs done…it’s now a lovely evening! 

How many men does it take to clear a blocked drain…thus far three soloists who couldn’t but each then brought in the big guns, a tanker complete with two men to suck out the blockage. After the second attempt a man arrived with a camera, diagnosed the problem and raised a job sheet…which no one actioned. Third attempt happened on Friday when said job sheet was actually actioned…big guns have had to come back every 12 hours over the weekend to keep things clear and after their appearance this morning a digger arrived with a further two men to dig up the road. I’m hopeful Bob the Builder will arrive tomorrow to do the actual fixing!
