Tulip Tree Silkmoth

I found this moth on the road while we were on our walk this morning. It seemed to be still barely alive. I hope it had accomplished its task of laying eggs and was at the natural end of its life. Anyhoo - I moved it off the road for both a better photo and an comfier place to die. If dying was what was happening...
