Sunday stroll

Still too windy for the beach.. not fun having sand blown in your eyes , so we went to Furness Abbey.
Only one other car in the carpark with a Belgian reg. It s a lovely place to visit but it's never busy. I think it's because it isnt over hyped or commercialised like Tintern or Ripon.
As it is , we prefer it quiet and when it's like this Fletch can be off lead .
We took our time strolling round and I took a few shots,  trying out the phone camera

Blip isnt of  the abbey, it's the old custodians hut which used to be the entrance. Photographed many many times.

Back home I hoovered out the car which hadnt  been done for a while and had accumulated bits of twigs , leaves and sand.  Touch wood, the tyre has remained inflated.

Spent 45 minutes on the phone sorting out the car insurance. The first person I spoke to knew what I wanted but she had problems with her computer and in the end had to pass me on to a colleague who turned out to be in what sounded like and Indian call centre.
We finally managed to understand each other and all was sorted but what a headache.  It was so much easier when I could walk into the Swinton office and they sorted everything for me . Face to face contact is so much better
