Repurposed

Once upon a time it was a butter dish, but unfortunately didn't last long in that form! A while ago I dropped something on to the base, which promptly shattered. We continued to use the top on another base from a previous butter dish until the wooden handle broke off. It seemed too nice to throw out so it's been repurposed, as they say these days, as a bowl. It's on a high shelf in the hall.

An emergency Blip at the end of a busy, but 'bitty', sort of day. Did two loads of washing, made a big pan of French lentil soup (it may be June, but it still feels like 'soup weather'), did an online supermarket order, nipped to the paper shop to buy some dividers, and made a bit more progress on the 'sort out the paperwork' project. Finally, printed off a bus timetable for tomorrow...
