Ostuni e Cisternino

We had a leisurely breakfast and then headed to Ostuni for the monthly antiques market. There was a wide selection and a friendly atmosphere. One trader gave Minnie a wee gift - such kindness.

We spent the afternoon at the Trullo,  swimming and napping, and then went to Cisternino for the evening and had a lovely meal at Barfod in the square. I took the opportunity to go back to the shoe shop to thank the lovely woman for my new sandals which are very comfortable. I plucked up the courage to ask for her photo and she suggested a selfie - turns out selfie means the same thing in Italian. In the extras you can see my new friend Lucia.
