A day in the life

Poetry

We just finished our poetry performance. Gustaf Fröding is a well known poet to many Swedes, of my generation. This was another one-time-performance, as was the Beatles show. But we will surely get more gigs in the autumn, for both shows. Todays performance was set in a huge, old ware house, extra, used for storing different kinds of crops in the old days, flour, wheat, grains and so on. Today the house is used for exhibitions by the local history society. We are their first "cultural event" in the premises but surely not the last. While Eva was reading a rathe long poem about the poets mother, I sneaked in a blip from the side.

Now, I can relax for a little while, the next concert is on the 3d of July, when I'm singing some songs in the local church. It will be nice to concentrate on other things for a while. The garden for instance. And, I have a couple of friends visiting Monday to Wednesday next week. Looking forward to that.
