Mother and Daughter in Blue and Red

Our daughter Jess and her boyfriend James are visiting this weekend, so I will probably be catching up with Blip in a bit (again).

This afternoon we went for an invigorating walk up to the top of the Roundhill at Kelston, despite the grey skies and threatened rain.  We even managed to make it to the top and back down to the pub in Kelston before there was any rain.  But by the time we had stopped for a quick drink to fortify ourselves for the journey back home, the rain had started.

We were lucky that the rain didn't really get going properly until we got safely home, so we didn't get too wet on the way back.

I managed to get Cathy and Jess to pose briefly for this shot.  It is nice to see my girls together (can I say that, is that OK?).  It was also pretty clear that while this one shot was going to be tolerated, I wasn't going to get any more chances - but you only ever need the one decent shot.  Getting it on the other hand, well that is a whole other thing. :-)
