Lesser Stitchwort

I think this is the lesser rather than the greater. It grows amongst the buttercups, daisies, clover and grasses near the community orchard. For the past couple of years the local authority has been persuaded not to mow the grass to within an inch of its life every few weeks. What a marvellous difference that has made.

I woke this morning to the weather forecaster saying that it would be a cloudy start. It was in fact a beautiful sunny morning though a bit of cloud has rolled in. The wind has dropped from yesterday's very fresh breeze which makes things much more pleasant.

I'm going to continue to keep apart from other people while Cameraman is still under the weather with covid. I seem to be avoiding it thank goodness.
