This young Robin was not impressed by what was on offer, in this case, nothing!

This tray is used by the birds to reach the bird feeder, and also to stop the Bird Of Prey swooping in and attacking. A simple tactic which works (long story), also the pigeons used to land on it with ease and nab the food. 

It soon disappeared into a tree nearby, when it discovered its harassed parent was, and I believe promptly fed :-)
