Wedding

This is the theme for today's Mono Monday hosted by Pinkhairedlady.   It's a shame I didn't see the marriage carriage today rather than yesterday as that would have been an ideal candidate.  Anyway it's been a lovely day weather-wise and after jobs around the house this morning we felt like a trip this afternoon.   So we went to the National Trust property,  Charlecote Park where we had a good walk ending up at the Orangery Cafe for an alfresco coffee.

There is a church in the grounds, St. Leonard's, built in the 1800s but containing 16th and 17th century tombs and monuments of the Lucy family that have lived at Charlecote since 1247.  Now I'm pretty sure they hold wedding ceremonies there, so there's the wedding theme.

There were lots of butterflies around.  I've put one in the extras, it was perched on an allium flower.
