Life in Sunny Dubai

Longest day

After a whole day at home working, scouring Amazon pages looking for easy-to-carry lighting gear and helping Petra re-do her CV using Canva whilst G taught her daughter Maths, it was great to pop out briefly to catch the sunset. It is the longest day, after all, and over here, it means that the sun sets at 7:11 PM. That's it. That's all we get. 13 hours and 42 minutes of daylight on the 21st of June. We can now look forward to cooler days (in a few months time) after enduring several months of blistering heat.

We hadn't been to the Sol Sky Bar for months, so it was great to reacquaint ourselves with it and watch the sun go down. We also enjoyed views of the Creek and the usual traffic on it (see my extra).

The evening ended by eating dinner at Caesar's, an old favourite restaurant. We got a great welcome and service. When I got home, I put my kit together for another photo shoot tomorrow, this time at Clients' offices.
