A day in the life

By Shelling

Solitude

My friends left here this morning to go back home, so nice that they came. Good friends are not easy to come by, old friends even more so, old friends takes a long time to get and they all need to be nourished, as we just did. None of us can be taken for granted.

I spent some time in the garden, cutting some of the long grass, making paths where I need them. My landlord lent me his trimmer to play with, that makes it a lot easier. A walk was had, yesterdays solstice was reflected upon and midsummer gathering was planned. Soon I really must get going  planning my next performance and to record the old songs properly. Time flies.
