HWP Day 2 - Carlisle to Banks

The extra is the River Eden past Carlisle, the main is Steve disappearing down into the trees a couple of miles before Banks.

The terrain is slowly but surely becoming more undulating as we head towards the Pennines. The weather wasn't as sunny as yesterday, but it was more humid.

We actually saw a small section of Hadrian's Wall today, it only remained intact because it formed part of a building already. Apart from that it was a pretty uneventful day, just a matter of keeping going as we had to be in Banks by 4pm for the taxi to take us to Brampton for the night. We'll be dropped back there in the morning.
