Midsummer Sundown at Midnight

We wandered the 100 metres from the campervans to the beach where Roy had put up his tent. The light was wonderful, both in the sky and in reflection and we let our goodnight stretch out several minutes while we admired the light. Then everyone headed off to bed.
The next morning started with a swim and then breakfast between the vans. The day was warm enough that shade was already necessary (see extra).
More splashing around on the SUP, another three trips without falling in, then a big splash!  I love learning new things!  Livia also went out to try the board. She amazed us all by nervously paddling around a while kneeling up and then getting to her feet as she came back in, before paddling out again standing up. Eventually she came back in, and completed her first trip on a SUP board without getting wet!
After brunch Roy headed off to other adventures, Livia and Roger went off to see his mum and we headed a little further north to Sunnet for another night out.
The day has been so warm it almost got uncomfortable, but we let the cold lakes soak away our excess heat. Definitely one of the best Midsummers ever!
