Globe thistle

Knackered today, but had another good day with Mum.  It started off very rainy, but we waited it out and ended up having a lovely sunny walk/wheel down to Wells city centre, and back.  Got lots of useful little jobs done - changing some old Pound coins at the bank, dropping several bags off at the charity shop, and buying various bits of stationery that Mum needed.  Had a look around the market, too, hoping to find some hanging baskets, but no joy.

Had some lunch back at Mum's, then drove to Morrisons to look at the plants there.  Found a lovely hanging basket, and bought lots of other plants, too.  Ran into Mum's favourite carer there, and neither of us recognised her as we've never seen her without a face mask on before!  Was lovely to see her once we realised who she was!

Spent the rest of the afternoon planting up one of Mum's old hanging baskets, and the pots outside her front door, as well as finding homes for the other extra plants we'd bought.
