Off we go again..

Leisurely start to the day, last swim on south uists. Then pack up and off to Eriskay to catch the ferry to Barra. A short trip, made all the more special by seeing the numerous seals on the little islands as we approached the Dock.

I'd chosen the site based on it being ideal for paddle boarding and swimming, but the weather had other ideas. We chose not to use the electric hook up we had booked and paid for, opting for a beach side pitch , Solar panels -best thing out! Pitchured up and walked around the beach to a cute little harbour, got back just before heavans opened.

No swim as particularly cold wind and metres of sea weed to negotiate.
