Unfurled

After Pilates Chris and I went to the garden centre just over the border in the next village for lunch as he has to be out this evening.  We couldn’t find the garden supplies he wanted so we went to the other garden centre, at the opposite edge of our village, to get his requirements.

I couldn’t find anything in either to inspire me for a blip today so
took this of the tree fern on the back patio. The korus are all unfurled now and the fronds are a lovely bright fresh green.
Worth a blip I thought.

Behind it are the golden leaves of the Fuchsia Genii. It will very soon engulf the bird bath and be full of bright red flowers. To the left the seed heads from the Pasque flower (Pulsatilla) can still be seen.

Windy, dull and quite cool today.
