HWP Day 6 - East Wallhouses to Newburn

There are some places where Hadrian's Wall Path inexplicably takes a loop, and this is what's going on in the main photo. The path goes left and then right around the church hall and church... we went straight on.

A very easy ten miles today. We didn't rush but still got to The Keelman's Lodge at Newburn by 2.30pm, so we've both had a relaxing bath.

I've had a reply about the messed up bit of our trip, and we'll receive a phone call to discuss it on our return.

9.76 miles
472 ft elevation gain

Extra: our first view of the River Tyne after coming down the hill to join the riverside path, and where we ate lunch.
