Blue and yellow

I went into the office today. It increasingly seems to be the thing to do on Thursdays. We had some members of the Poland team joining us and there were plans for drinks with them after the team Town Hall.  The Town Hall was OK and there was a rudimentary show and tell. I am not sure that most people wanted to know about our proposed use of DataDog, the monitoring and security platform for cloud applications. Still, I am quite intrigued by the possibilities.

Before drinks with the out-of-town team was proposed, ‘the usual suspects’ had agreed to meet for drinks and maybe dinner this evening. In the end a couple of people couldn't make it so the remaining three of us ended up in a Pizza Express on New Fetter Lane. It was a fun evening with the usual conversation wondering where it is all going. L&M are on a project with a looming deadline of June.  I think they will be fine.

On the walk back to Waterloo, the National Theatre was, again, lit up in the colours of the Ukrainian flag. Today, President Zelensky has asked people everywhere to take to the streets in a show of support for Ukraine to mark one month of the Russian invasion. Has it really been a month already?
