Buddleja Magic

This morning when I went into the garden to pick my breakfast berries, the temperature was already up at 25 degrees C, and the sun shone on the butterfly bush. Apparently, that made the Buddleja flowers irresistible to bees and butterflies.
So I fetched my camera to get a (for me) rare before-breakfast-blip.

The main shows a peacock butterfly, and I added a collage with some of the other guests: a hummingbird hawk-moth, a painted lady, and a cabbage white.

Later, I visited my mother and enjoyed the cooler air in the Taunus hills. Much nicer than the 32 degrees here in the valley.
