Walk in the park

I am often amazed at how, in a country where everything appears to be so big, the butterflies can be so teeny and the sunbirds so small. I spent a while wandering around trying to get shots of these flighty beasts in bright sunshine! The scarlet chested sunbird may be small but is very feisty - it saw off any others that came near. It is on the Bauhinia (poor man's orchid) a tree with beautiful flowers but very busy and so hard to get a clear shot of it.
The family are home enjoying the game and relaxing after their busy day yesterday.
