Tonight there is a Rugby match - South Africa vs Wales on the TV - rugby is a big thing in this household so we are having a 'party' with some neighbours joining us for drinks, watching the rugby and then enjoying (or not depending on the outcome) a meal.  Yvonne and I went to Tzaneen early to avoid the masses, for provisions and I have been allowed to make dessert - they wanted apple crumble so that is what they will get!
The eagle, very cheekily, dropped in at feeding the croc time and after surveying the scene, seeing we weren't a threat, flew down and made off with one of the chickens that we'd put out for the crocs! A beautiful beast, but a bit cheeky.  That said, in the ten minutes we sat there, none of them come out to get food so maybe there is more fish in their pond than we thought!
The extra shows the beautiful sunbird I saw yesterday posing on top of a  tree in the sunlight.  It was a long way off but still very visible.
