Peonies

Last of the peonies from the garden. Their smell is intoxicating.

We have Ken here from Rome for a few days. His father died last week and luckily he was able to be with him in time to say goodbye.

He’s quite overweight and unfit and on the walk back from the town which is all uphill I thought he was going to die! It was quite muggy and warm granted but we had to stop often for him to get his breath back. He was sweating buckets too. We do this uphill many times and it’s great cardio but forgot that Ken doesn’t really get much exercise so he struggled. I felt bad.

Cameron came up for tea as the rest of the gang are away to a wedding in Thurso. He’s off to Centre Parks on Sunday for 5 days with his Dad and family but delayed going to his dads in St. Andrews as Lindsay has Covid.

Played a few board games Ticket to Ride and Metro and luckily I won one of them otherwise I get angry haha!
