Beautiful Scotland

We are so lucky living in a country where we have views like this, and the ability to roAm where we please (mostly)!

We started off with a delicious breakfast. I had smoked salmon and poached egg on a warm muffin, yogurt, and a banana. S had the the Scottish breakfast. Our neighbor last were an American couple and their daughter, touring Scotland and when finished this heading down to Devon. They are from LA and are loving everything about Scotland , even when it rains as the weather in LA is hot, dry and dirty air quality. The daughter works for Netflix’s and the parents are retired. Enjoyed our chat with them.

We headed north to Loch Clair for a walk recommended by Fiona, our landlady. It was beautiful. No noise apart from birds and stunning scenery. After this we travelled through Kinlochewe to the Midge Bite for a late lunch (3pm). Delicious soup and Greek salad and good coffee (and cake). Nice people that run it too.

The. We drove over to the Corrieshalloch Gorge for a walk. The bridge over the gorge only should take 6 people and it wobbles! The waterfall was Immense but it played havoc with my balance!

We walked round the circular route then back to the car to decide where to eat. Not many place are open on a Sunday but there was a place in Maryburgh open so we headed there. It was after 7 by the time we ate but the food was good once again.

We are quite exhausted from our day outdoors walking.
