SWEARING IN

It's Mono Monday and the challenge is "tension."

Road America and the big NASCAR Cup race. Pre-race ceremonies included the swearing in of new recruits to the United State Air Force.

Doing the swearing in was the Chief of Staff of the United States Air Force, the highest ranking officer in the USAF, General C.Q. Brown. This man sits in with the Joint Chiefs of Staff. A truly remarkable individual.
~
It must be exciting and tense enough being sworn in in front of tens of thousands of race fans but to have the main man doing the honors.....must be something they will never forget. The tension was palpable.
