UP ON THE ROOF

We spent most of the afternoon at the hospital again. They phoned B and asked him to go in for scans and more tests which, fortunately, didn't show anything untoward to explain Saturday's episode. However, he's now had a full MOT, a wake-up chat with the doctor about lifestyle and a couple of prescriptions to help with BP etc, so that's all to the good. It was too late to get out for a walk by the time we got home so I went out into the back alley and spotted this annual event happening on our chimney stack. It'll soon be learning to fly by sliding down the skylight, and I hope won't emulate a predecessor a few years ago who met its demise down the chimney and caused a disgusting plague of flies (hence the deterrent nylon spikes, which they completely ignore).
