Dreaming

Of summer nights and cicadas? Not a great deal of time today for actual day dreaming, I was working in the town surgery, hard at the phone calls. Did not get out at lunchtime. 

However, I'm home now and all is well. I've done 8.3 K steps and decided that there's no point in trying to do 10k or more every day, since the figure was basically made up for the 1968 Olympics in Japan, and some days I do more, anyway.

Now watching the Inspector Alleyn Mysteries. I haven't the faintest idea what's going on, but I've gathered that when the gentleman asks, 'Care for a Snort?' he is actually offering a shot of whisky.
