Jimmy the horse

As I walked up “hedge lane” I could see Jimmy and his rider ambling towards me from the other direction,

We have met before, and I asked if I could take a photo. That was fine. There was a bit of tension though, which Jimmy is displaying here. The midges were bothering him.

His rider loves her twelve year old mount. He has a good temperament, it’s just the midges and flies he cannot really abide.
