Heady scent...

from these lilies.  They're a bit of a marmite flower I think, with some people hating them and others loving them and their perfume.  I'm in the latter category :-)

No time to think about photos today so grabbed this shot of the lilies on the hall table just before Ele and Kenny arrived.

We had a lovely afternoon and evening with them.  We've seen them a couple of times since they got back from Spain but in other company, so this was the first chance we'd had to hear about their recent holiday to Spain.  

Poor Ele started to develop a cold and as they evening wore on she was almost constantly blowing her nose.  Covid test negative.  In all the fuss of the virus we've forgotten how rubbish having a common cold is!
