Silly Saturday

Today our community choir had been invited to sing at the Skipton Pride event in Aireville Park.  Caught 3 buses and had a wander around the park before entering the venue.  Not sure what time it started, but not many people about initially.  We had a “proper stage” and lots of computers and technical equipment surrounding us so not much room to move. We started a little late, but the audience seemed to enjoy the songs.  We dropped the last song due to the time - it was “Tragedy” which I can’t stand so that was good!  Had a wander around the event afterwards - the food and drink prices were eye watering!  Came across the Yorkshire Pudding Beer stand - thought this would make a good blip for the 300th Silly Saturday.  The wording which amused me was “Unfortunately some Yorkshire puddings we’re sacrificed in the making of the beer”!  :-)) Thanks to DavidC for hosting.  More photos in extras. Had a couple of hours wandering along the canal and around the town before catching 3 buses home.  A good day.
