Monsieur l'artiste

Oh my word, a missive has winged its way from the ex-grandnabob at the Foreign Office, one McDonald of Salford, to the Standards Commissioner. Oooft. Bang on target - who’d have thought it - Johnson (via his operation in No10) has been caught once again with flaming pants round his ankles.

"No official complaints against [Mr Pincher] were ever made. This is not true."
Ouch!
“...the modification is still not accurate. Mr Johnson was briefed in person about the initiation and outcome of the investigation. There was a formal complaint".
Oh dear oh dear.

The son came round for lunch and we then wandered over to the boat to consider what I could do next. Hard work - I sat in the sun and considered it. But then off to uplift minky and hold on to her awhile (her mum being in London) - I must say, having a beach on one’s doorstep is quite a boon for the grandparent. Today minky learned that feet can be covered in sand and they disappear!
Back from dropping off and more big news comes in - Sajid Javid and Rishi Sunak have thrown in the towel. "The public rightly expect government to be conducted properly, competently and seriously.” Oooft again.

Later, the esteemed WBRA meet up - in our garden as there were a number of call-offs. Which meant that the Prosecco JK brought went that bit further..
