My boots are ready. It might be a little hot for heavy boots, but it could also be a tad wet and since I can only take the footwear I'll have on, apart from flip-flops, it's got to be these.

The builder chappy popped round and he concluded it was a big job! (Taking up the tarmac and the slabs of concrete, redoing the existing and extra bit of the drive in block paving, in the front garden and all the way through to the back, extending/creating a patio with retaining wall, and replacing the entire side fencing with something taller and stronger.) I'm not sure how many skipfuls that'll create... He'll pop back Monday to measure up.
