Summer Flower - Lilium bulbiferum

This spectacular flower, Lilium bulbiferum - orange lily or fire lily, is one of the really common summer flowers in this part of the world. We have never planted them, and yet they pop up in all our flowerbeds, apparently spreading through mini bulbs that appear on the stems and then drop off.  We welcome them, wherever they wish to appear!
Tomorrow it is going to really rain hard so I decided today was a good time to capture photos of the flowers in our garden, in case the rain beats them down!
I also set up our new roof-rack and put it on the car to check it worked. There was a photo of that event too, but a photo of a roof rack is not exciting, so the flower won!
