Field to plate

It was good to be able to sleep in the cool.  I must be getting soft.

We were tourists this morning.  First the Bee and Butterfly Farm then way up the hill to the Chin Swee Temple which I could see from the room last night.  We took quite a few photos and you could just about make out KL in under the clouds down in the valley.

Then to lunch at the Little Farm on the Hill - field to plate lunch club experience.  We were 45 minutes late.  Miscalculation of timings.  Lunch was amazing so much food and lovely people.  The wine (a crianza since you ask was eye watering expensive, £60 a bottle, £20 a glass!) The we had a tour of the farm (small holding) and info on the organic methods they use.  Most veggies here are grown hydroponically but they use compost and soil.  Vert Gardeners' World!

Since #1 son was absent we got his meal to take home with us.  It was a great afternoon and the food .... more European than Malaysian though.

Home now, back to the humidity and still no heavy rain though the skies are very threatening.  Tomorrow is the Eid holiday.
