Cherry Picking

Or picking cherries. It's funny how the entire meaning changes when you turn the words around!

We've both been home all day, therefore the indoor emergency blip. I saw these cherries at an affordable price, so bought them for G. :))

I was asked to attend a meeting on Teams with the new team in Cairo who are taking on the accounting function from the Singapore office. The accounts payable function is taking a hit. The Dubai office had no idea that Cairo were taking the entire week off for Eid al Adha. Hmmm.

Another meeting followed where I was asked if I be willing to oversee the invoices and ensure they get paid on time. I said I'll give an answer by Tuesday.
