Monarch ...

... butterfly.

I noticed this beautiful monarch laying eggs on our milkweed this morning.  I immediately collected the eggs ... and at the time I'm posting this (July 13) the eggs have hatched.  The caterpillars are happily munching away knowing they are safe in one of our butterfly enclosures.
