Catching the Sun

Albuca shawii, a South African bulb, not usually considered hardy in the UK but here by the sea in Wales, it's come through a winter outside and looks better than ever.  I have a few other South Africans I have raised from seed which I shall try outside in due course.

Today's main event was a trip to Bangor where Katie had a routine hospital appointment.  Fun driving her swish little car over the hills and far away.   We stopped in Bangor for lunch with Katie's Mum who had driven up from her home in England.  A stop at the big supermarket in Porthmadog on the way back also saved Jamie and I from having to pay for a delivery.   Sunshine and scenery there and back, a fun day out.
