Day 4 Tour of the Lakes

Rain from the time we woke up this morning to about lunchtime, but it was forecast so..... The ascent of Skiddaw was ditched, there's no point if you can't see anything, and we set off on the Cumbria Way towards Keswick and then onto Borrowdale.

Lovely to look at Brown Slabs and the rest of Shepherd's Crag from the path, last visited last summer and autumn.

Borrowdale YHA was a disappointment because they had no traditional bitter and most of the other beers were citrus tainted. I am so fed up of citrus beers, grapefruit is for breakfast, and even the cans of IPA were citrussy!
