Marsh Milkweeds

It was supposed to rain all day. Fortunately it did not and I could get out without getting wet. I walked down to the marsh to see how the milkweeds were doing. They are the pink flowers and they have sprung up now the grasses, which were choking out everything else, have been removed.

The pink colour is a nice contrast to all the greens, I hope they continue to flourish. I tried to get close to the foreground flowers with a wide angle lens to show them in detail yet in context. Not sure how successful I was with that, the flowers seemed more dominant to the eye.
