Just like my T-shirt

As there was no rain today, I decided that the taking down of the scaffolding along the southeastern side of the house was an indication that it was more than time that the drive should be swept. Not the easiest task as the many fallen leaves were wet and hard to sweep. They seemed to adhere to the tarseal. 

As well as sweeping the drive clear of  leaves and other debris, I trimmed back some of the growth along the sides. And it seemed sensible to agree with S' suggestion and empty the wheelbarrow load of leaves and twigs and humus onto an elevated potential garden to which access had been restored by removal of the scaffolding.
