Moving house

Not us, but the swift box that we installed last year. The gable end was nice and high, but the back of the house - facing north - offers more shade and shelter. We'll also be able to play a swift call recording from the bedroom window, which can help in attracting swifts to the box. Fingers crossed.
This is all thanks to the advice from our local swift conservation group.
