Coming in hot

With all the leaf cover that you get at this time of year, it is not always easy to spot the small passerines such as this female chaffinch.

I've been away visiting a friend over the weekend, so haven't been around on blip - hence I'm uploading this one after the event.

It has been nicely in the mid 20s' today with a bit of a breeze.  Delightful weather for sitting outside in the sunshine - but tomorrow things are due to start getting very hot for a few days.
