And breathe….!

An afternoon drive with friend up into the Yorkshire Dales for a singing retreat at the beautiful Parcevall Hall.   The photo on the left is the stunning view from our bedroom window, and the one on the right is the lovely lady in the pond in front of the hall - a very serene sculpture by Chris Hall. Apparently it is called the Woman from Samaria representing the moment when the woman of Samaria recognises the mystery of Christ’s reference to the Water of Life. Such a beautifully peaceful place - all you can hear is birdsong, and the garden is just full of gorgeous blooms.  Met up with the other guests over tea and cake, then I went off for a walk before dinner after which we had our first singing session.  After a rather fraught week I can feel myself starting to relax which is quite alien to me!  :-))
