Heavy Dew

I thought it had rained overnight because the grass was so wet. I think it was just a heavy dew after the amount of rain the previous day. I was in search of suitable subjects for B&W having leafed through some examples for inspiration. I looked for things with more natural contrast, form, shape and texture.

I felt these toadstools (if that's what they are) fit the bill. I got low and used an extension tube. It's fascinating to see these things at close quarters when I would normally walk right on by. I think we're getting lots of them at the moment because of the damp.
